Veterans Day

We don’t have any classes on Monday, November 12 because Sunday is Veterans Day.

Veterans Day is on November 11. It is an American holiday to honor people who have completed military service or who are currently serving in the military. It is a federal holiday, so schools, banks, post offices, and government buildings are closed.

There are five U.S. military branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. The President of the United States is the Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. military.
