And So It Begins…

The 2013-2014 school year is set to begin. This week, there is orientation for daytime students. At orientation, students will receive their books, meet their teachers, learn about school policies, and see their classroom. Here’s the orientation schedule:

Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 9:00 am: Class 0A, Class 2A, & Class 4.5

Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 11:00 am: Class 3P

Thursday, August 29, 2013, 9:00 am: Class 1A & Class 3A

Thursday, August 29, 2013, 11:00 am: Class 0P, Class 1P, & Class 2P

All Evening Classes (Class E0, Class, E1, Class E2, & Class E3) will meet on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 6:30 pm.

All Weekend Classes will meet on Saturday, September 7, 2013Classes W1 & W2 at 9:30 am, and Classes W3 & W4 at 1:30 pm.

All orientation sessions will be at 175 Eldridge St. – the same place where you first registered.

One more thing: remember to bring $10 for your book deposit! No hundreds, please!

Meaning: A tan that doesn’t cover the whole body; a tan with a distinct line made by clothing.

Examples:

Hey, nice farmer tan!

I was working outside all day yesterday in the sun, so I got a farmer tan.

People started laughing when they saw that the bikini model had a farmer tan.

Reading to your children helps build a better relationship, improve their education and academic performance (grades), and many other reasons.
