Awesome Adjective: Forgetful

Awesome Adjectives are back to after a two-month hiatus!

Meaning: Describing someone who often forgets things or loses things.

Examples:

He always loses his keys – he’s so forgetful!

They say you get more forgetful as you get older.

I’m very forgetful, so I always write notes to help me remember.

Pop Quiz:

Who is not forgetful?

A.  Someone with a good memory.

B.  Someone with a bad memory.

C.  Someone with bad memories.

The correct answer is A. If you have a good memory, that means you rarely forget things. If you have a bad memory, you often forget things. Don’t forget that forgetful means you often forget things!
